Competition "Winners" Calculations
Weekly Results Calculation
On completion of all games of a round, and before 9am on the day following the last game of the round;
- For each game where the tipster correctly selects the winner, 1 game point is awarded.
- In the case of a drawn game, 1 game point shall be awarded to all tipsters for that game.
Weekly Points Margin Calculation
- For the points margin game of each round, each tipster must select a margin their selected team will win by, for these games the margin points tally is calculated as follows:
- If the tipster picks the WINNING TEAM in the points margin game, the margin points will be calculated based on the difference between the nominated margin and the actual winning margin of the winning team, for example if the tipster selects a points margin of 15 points, and the team tipped wins by 10 points the margin points would be 5.
- If the tipster picks the LOSING TEAM in the points margin game, the margin points is automatically set to 150 points for that round.
- The winner for the round shall be the tipster who has the highest number of game points for that round. In the event that two or more tipsters have the equal highest number of game points for a round, the winner shall be the person with the highest number of game points for the round, and the lowest number of margin points for the round. In the event that two or more tipsters have the highest number of game points for a round AND the lowest number of margin points for the round, the prize shall be split equally between those tipsters.
Grand Prize Calculation
Each tipsters game points for a round are rolled over into a cumulative game points total for that tipster. A tipsters cumulative game points total is the sum of all weekly points for that tipster after the final round of the competition.
